{{First Name | Hey! }}

Do you ever see a video online that makes you stop, pay attention, and consider your entire life?

Okay, maybe that’s a bit dramatic. . .

But 2 years ago, I remember watching a video that inspired me so much that I HAD to create my own video about that video. . .

I know, some real Inception right there! Ha!

Anyway, for whatever reason, I was reminded of that video I made in February of 2023 and thought I’d unearth it for you.

Perhaps you’ve seen it. But if not, you’re in for a treat.

And it teaches three things. . .

#1: Turn Frowns Into Fist Bumps
You will miss shots. It happens. Instead of frowning or going quiet, give a fist bump or paddle tap and say “Let’s go!”

That shows your partner you have their back.

#2: Focus on What’s Ahead
Don’t talk about the last mistake.

You can’t change it. Instead, encourage them for the next rally. Something specific for them to focus on, like, “Next, let’s hit the middle.” This keeps both of you moving forward.

Tip 3: Find Specifics
Instead of saying “Nice job,” point out what you saw.

Try “That backhand cut dink was perfect—great work!” Details help your partner know what to do again.

Oh, and what was the video that inspired my video?

You can see that at the beginning. But–I warn you–it might inspire your entire day after seeing it. ;-)

Enjoy!
