Off-Balance = In Big Trouble

The Tip No One Tells You: Rush the Returner (Here’s Why It Works)

After a serve, most players just hang back and wait.

Then choose the shot they’re most comfortable with.

This is a mistake.

Instead, (especially on a short return) you should move in before the returner makes it to the kitchen line and hit a ball that rushes that player.

When you do this, everything changes:

  • You open up tons of targets

  • Your opponent is likely off-balance

  • And you create a real chance to win the point early

Even better?

You can combine this with another strategy I share in the video (Play the Backhand Game), and it becomes a serious weapon.

Your focus this week

Your focus this week is simple;

Aim every third shot at the player who just returned the ball. Even if they’ve successfully made it to the kitchen, still aim there.

Get used to rushing the returner.

You’ll be shocked how many easy points you win.

P.S. I also share a breathing trick near the end that can actually calm your nerves between points. It’s simple—and it works.
